Who We Are

Team Services is a second-generation, family-owned and operated company, continuing the legacy of 50-year industry veteran, Jim Fletcher. Founded in 2007, Team Services began by providing shore tankerman services to the inland marine transportation system along the Gulf Coast.

Over time, we expanded our offerings to crude storage terminals, performing total site management, including tank farm, rail, truck and pipeline operations. From inland marine to offshore support, Team Services has you covered.

Training + Experience

We understand our customer’s safety and operational needs and develop employee-focused training and career growth plans.

Employee development begins with participation in the Team Services Apprenticeship Program, which:

  • Trains and develops tankermen through a customized, proprietary 4-6 month program
  • Culminates in the successful completion of our in-house Coast Guard Approved Dangerous Liquids School and Marine Firefighting School
  • Incorporates the Safety Net process, providing hands-on supervision to newly released tankermen.

COMMUNICATION: Safety discussions initiate every meeting, reinforcing our shared responsibility. Our robust near-miss and hazard reporting program gives a channel for every team member to contribute to a safer environment.

RISK ASSESSMENT: Hazard assessment and risk mitigation play a pivotal role in our operations, creating a proactive culture where every risk is identified and tackled head-on.

Our Achievements

At Team Services, safety is the core of our business. We are a three-time recipient of the prestigious AEU National Safety Award for Marine Cargo Handling, 2016, 2019, and 2021 from among over 1,400 competing.
